Join us for a tour to ¨Artecorte¨; a unique local development project of its kind in Cuba. Created in 1999, its mission is to promote the social, cultural and economic progress of the community of Santo Ángel in Old Havana where it has its headquarters offering to its residents free courses, social attention and support for entrepreneurs covering all ages from children to the elderly. This tour is offered for the purpose of helping to raise funds to support these projects.The main attraction will focus on the history of barber culture in a part of Havana. They will give you access to a true cultural exchange. It is going to be so much more than just a neighborhood tour. It will be truly heartwarming to see a community collective trying to embrace the positive aspects of private enterprise while keeping a strong commitment to social responsibility. Go along with us for a tour to the Barbershop and Hairdressing Museum; a room decorated with works of art and armchairs over 100 years old. You will also visit the Community School where different programs are developed for children and young people.
